A simple stew

I plan to have lots of chard this summer because I can grow it in pots close to my house, and enjoy looking at it as well as eating it. I love chard with pesto and pasta, stews, rice dishes, stir frys, and I often use it to wrap up savory rice dishes. The tender greens are yummy, beautiful and filled with antioxidants. This stew recipe minus the parm is from the NY times, and is the kind of food I like to make these days. I can't eat dairy and soy until I stop breast feeding due to Alice's allergy and so usually dinners are some version of beans and greens. NY times has lots of easy recipes that are often quite healthy. Check this one out.
