Alice's birthday --party is Oct 2nd

Alice testing out her new birthday buggy. She can even check the oil with the dipstick in the back and load some toys in the front trunk.

I made some round Challah for Rosh Shashana. (Happy Jewish New Year)
Photos imported from Gabe's blackberry, unfortunately they look twenty years old. This photo was taken on Alice's Birthday at Art in the Park. Gabe is wearing his new green imitation Ray Bans.

Visiting friends in Western Massachusetts

The view from my balcony window. Alice and I house sat for a friends friend Marta in her beautiful home with a view of the Connecticut river.
Alice was excited to see some new toys.
My old roommate and friend Tara has put away her pastry pipes for the time being and is now doing the savory thing for Bread Euphoria. They have great food and they are so lucky to have her. She is a keeper.
Lily and Alice were buddies from the get go. Alice apparently knows how to pick em.

Alice and I spent lots of time with the Rubinsteins, who are pretty much like family.
Aaron and Elijah. I already miss them so much. These boys are going to make the world better I can already tell.
Katie and Elijah.

Katie, Aaron, Elijah, and Aryeh having lunch at Bread Euphoria in Haydenville.

Swimming at Chesterfield Gorge.
Pretty rocks.

New Hampshire family reunion July '2010

Zadie (Richard) and Alice

The amazing car boat we saw while canoeing on the Connecticut River.
Natan and Meir.

Natan attempted an Eskimo roll without a skirt, and capsized. However, he was able to empty out most of the water in his kayak and resume paddling back to shore.
Captain of our ship and also the best dressed in the bunch.
Gabe did all of the paddling while I made sure Alice did not jump out of the boat.
Playing in the pool at the New Hampshire house.
Bubbie, daddy, and Alice
Annie's aunt and uncle came to visit from Brattleboro, a nearby town near the Vermont border.
Gabe and Natan.

Our very own infinity pool.
